Back again with the second installment of The Duo Desk holiday style guide with Witchery Fashion, moving on from the last blog post that concentrated on dressed for the festive part season. We now look at resort styles, I swear shooting this blog post made me want to tag in my leave at work and fly to a place where I could be dressed like we are in this post with the sun shinning down at us with cocktails in hand lol.Nothing says holiday wear like shorts , Sandals and a straw hat for me personally, so for the first look we opted to both wear loose printed shorts from Witchery’s resort range , Crystal wore a matching printed set and I decided to wear printed shorts with  a blush pink satin top ( The satin trend is one of my summer favorite trends ) both looks are easy and perfect for day to night with just a shoe and accessory switch up.Because during the holiday season one can find themselves at a picnic or beach in the afternoon to sundowners/ dinner in the evening before getting a chance to go home and change, we wanted to show you how to go from day to night in one outfit.

The Day Look:

For the day looks we both wore flat sandals and  woven straw hats for that more laid back and casual look, I added a woven clutch to finish off my look. Because my top is satin which can be seen to be a more night time fabric, I made sure my shorts and accessories were more casual and not to dressy. Always keep in mind when wearing satin, Sequence or even velvet in the day time, add casual accessories to the look be it denim or, casual day shoes and accessories so that you don’t look like you woke up ready for a night out in the day lol .

The Night Look:

Still wearing the same day outfits we did an accessories switch up, because like I said sometimes there is no time to go home when that dinner invite comes through .We both wore silver metallic single strap heels and metallic clutch bags and instantly to the looks from day to night, we decided to twin it out with our accessories here.

Witchery’s Swimwear Collection:

Whether you taking a trip to the beach for your holiday or like me having a stay-cation by the pool-side, Witchery has a great retro inspired swimwear collection that I’m obsessing over. Crystal and I have different tastes in swimwear so we both choose pieces that worked for our style and body shapes. I went for an off-shoulder Bikini style set with matching high waist bottoms. I went for the off-shoulder style because I have a small bust so the off-should style show cases my shoulder instead of focusing on my bust area (Which is sexy in that covered up way), the high-waist bottoms elongate my body making me look taller and leaner which I’m not complaining about. We both accessorised our swimwear with this brown fanny-pack style bags to finish of that retro vibe.
